Harlem Afternoon Jazz Tour - Welcome to Harlem

As the birthplace of Jazz, there is no better place to learn about the art form than Harlem. Welcome to Harlem’s Harlem Afternoon Jazz Tour combines a walking tour with a performance to create a memorable experience for visitors. Enjoy a walking tour of Harlem and explore the storied history of jazz in the neighborhood, where legends such as Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Miles Davis performed. Following the tour, relax and enjoy a concert from one of today’s most talented jazz musicians. Tours are held every Tuesday afternoon at 11:00 AM.

Walking Tour of 9/11 Memorial Plaza - 9/11 Tribute Museum

If visiting the 9/11 Tribute Museum, be sure to join a tour of 9/11 Memorial Plaza. Tours are included with museum admission and are led by guides from the 9/11 community—first responders, survivors, family members, and residents. Learn historical facts related to specific locations in the plaza and experience authentic personal stories of survival, loss, and healing. Tours are held daily on the hour between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM and are appropriate for children eight years and older.

Culture Clash Tour - City Running Tours

City Running Tours offers a unique way to experience the Lower East Side. The Culture Clash Tour explores the history of this dynamic neighborhood, which was the first home to many New York City immigrants. Learn about the history and culture of SOHO, Little Italy, Chinatown, The Bowery, and the small streets of the Lower East Side, and get a glimpse of some of the city’s most famous restaurants, music venues, and clubs. Tours are offered every Thursday at 8:00 AM, cover 4.5 miles, and last about 1.5 hours.
