Prepaid parking is available on special event days at soldierfieldparking.com

For most major events, the parking lots open 4 hours prior to the start of the event and gates open 2 hours prior to the start of the event.

Only bags allowed in the stadium are clear plastic bags smaller than 12”x6”x12”; no purses are allowed other than cluches the size of your hand.

Fun Facts

Soldier Field opened its doors in 1924 after 5 years of building as Grant Park Municipal Stadium.  The stadium was renamed Soldier Field in 1926.

The Chicago Bears moved to Soldier Field from Wrigley Field in 1971.

Soldier Field underwent its largest renovation in 2002-2003.  Everything inside the stadium other than the original exterior walls and historic colonnades was renovated.
