The daily 1-hour tour goes out rain or shine. Vehicles are covered so weather does not affect the tour. The meal portion of the sunset tour will not be served in inclement weather.

It is recommended to use the public restrooms by the main parking lot around the corner from the office as the small office bathroom gets very busy. 

It is recommended to make reservations in advance.

Provincetown's Dunes are a protected park preserved for generations, established by President JFK in 1961. 

The dunes have changed throughout the centuries. Over the years the shape of the dunes shift with the wind, rain, and tide. Early settlers found used the trees from the dune’s forest to build in Provincetown. As a result, became more a more barren landscape.
