The Atlantic City Aquarium located in Historic Gardner's Basin in Atlantic City, NJ is home to more than 100 species of fish and animals. Visitors can get face to face with some of the most fascinating creatures on the planet. Several touch tanks provide the rare chance to get up close and personal with all sorts of aquatic creatures.
They have a massive 25,000 gallon tanks dedicated to fish of the Mid- Atlantic Ocean. Watch Groman, the resident Loggerhead Sea Turtle, as he swims among fish that are found right off of the coast. The Endangered Diamondback Terrapins have a safe home at the Aquarium. Learn about this unique species, the only turtle to live in brackish water- a mixture of salt and fresh water.
Step into their Tropical Rainforest exhibit and talk a walk on the wild side. See animals found in rainforests around the world, including the Matamata Turtle, Iguanas, Tarantulas and other exotic creatures.
