The Mid-Hudson Children's Museum offers hands-on experiences full of wonderment for children and families. Here you will find exhibits and programs that spark creativity, nourish the curious mind, and inspire chil

At the Museum, every exhibit is interactive, allowing little hands and growing minds to explore, play, and learn. There are two floors of hands-on exhibits and play spaces. Some of the exhibits include Rivertown, a multicultural interactive village; The Science Center, dedicated to early STEM education; Early Learning Junction, designed to develop school readiness; and The Children's Garden, an outdoor learning space where families can learn about growing their own food (open in season).

Located on the bank of the Hudson River in historic downtown Poughkeepsie, the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum is conveniently located only steps from the Poughkeepsie train station. Next to the Museum are two waterfront public parks and the Walkway Over the Hudson Historic Park.

Kid’s Kitchen, a healthy eating program for young children is held weekly during June, July, and August at the Market, free of charge.
