Since 1872, Roger Williams Park Zoo has provided visitors with the incredible opportunity to see and experience wildlife from across the globe. Each year approximately 800,000 visitors from around the state, country - and even the world – enjoy the Zoo's amazing animals, nationally-recognized events, and award-winning educational programs.
Naturalistic and dynamic exhibits are home to more than 160 species of animals, including red pandas, snow leopards, zebras, Komodo dragons, African elephants, Masai giraffes, flamingoes, sloths, and many more.
From hands-on Wild Connections and animal encounters to witnessing our giant otters splash and slide down their waterslide - these moments tell a story and create connections that last a lifetime.
If you’re still feeling adventurous, stop by the Explore and Soar area and take a trip on an exhilarating zip ride and a train excursion through the woodlands.
