Half the Picture: A Feminist Look at the Collection presents major works, new acquisitions, and rediscoveries in the Museum's collection through an intersectional feminist lens. Highlighting work created in response to crucial social and political moments from the last one hundred years, from World War I to the Civil Rights Movement and #MeToo, the exhibition foregrounds more than fifty artists who use their work to advocate for their communities, beliefs, and hopes for equality.

    Something to Say
Bringing together existing works and new, site-specific commissions by Brooklyn Hi-Art! Machine, Deborah Kass, Kameelah Janan Rasheed, and Hank Willis Thomas, this new exhibition explores the intersection between language and art through a series of text-based installations that activate the Museum's plaza green, steps, and promenade outside and the lobby within.
