What started as a single 6.8-mile race with 99 runners in 1974 has evolved into a world-class event hosting thousands of runners. The 5K, 10K and ½-Marathon begin at 7 am on Grand Boulevard. Expo and packet pick-up at the Entertainment Pavilion, Crown Center Square, Friday, June 2. Saturday, June 3, all races start and end at Crown Center Square. Showplace, Crown Center Shops, Level 1. Discover a world of make-believe as classic children’s tales come to life. Meet the Ice Queen in her Ice Palace and experience the giant adventures of “Jack and the Beanstalk.” Sit in Cinderella’s magic carriage and later stroll with “Little Red Riding Hood” through the woods to Grandmother’s house. And then have lunch with the “Seven Dwarfs.” This interactive exhibit includes a reading area where parents can share their favorite tales with their kids.
