Attendees aged 8 and older will learn how paper was historically made from start to finish. Students will make paper pulp by hand using recycled materials, dyeing paper with various colors, and creating several sheets to bring home. Papermaking is a hands-on, water-based activity, and is engaging for kids and adults. Once dry, the paper will be suitable for most mediums, including pencil.

Elena Masrour: Bingo, I'm the King, Now!–Exhibition Reception

The exhibition Bingo, I'm the King, Now! features drawings that address common struggles in Masour's home country, Iran, using a critical stance. Masour represents rebellion through her subjects, who symbolize empowerment and resistance. This exhibition is on view in Studio M from November 30, 2023, through January 14, 2024. Join us for the exhibition reception on Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Stark County Artists Exhibition reception.
