They are open 360 days a year. Closed only on Thanksgiving Day & the Friday after, Christmas Eve & Day, and New Year's Day.

Visit the Zoo right when it opens for more active animal residents! At 9:30am, April through October, and at Noon, November through March.

Sunset Zoo is open:

Susie, one of the top ten oldest living chimpanzees in captivity, resides at Sunset Zoo.

Two donkeys were the first animals exhibited at Sunset Zoo in the 1930's.
