Massillon Museum
The Art of Remembering features the artwork of six recently departed Stark County, Ohio, artists and reflects on their impact: Marcy Axelband (1954–2025), Diane Belfiglio (1956–2023), Frank Dale (1933–2025), Jack McWhorter (1950–2022), Pat Parker (1934–2024), and Pat Ripple (1926–2022).
Reflecting on the lasting impact of six recently departed Stark County artists. The show is on display in the Museum's Main Gallery through May 10, 2026.

Lunchtime Yoga takes place at MassMu each Friday from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Join certified yoga instructors for a relaxing yoga session on the MassMu lawn. Rain/cold location is inside the Museum. Relax and refocus as you are guided through your practice.

The wonderful Jimmy Fortune!
Jimmy Fortune toured, sang and performed with The Statler Brothers for 21 years, writing their No. 1 hits “Elizabeth”, “My Only Love” and “Too Much on My Heart.” After the group retired in 2002, Jimmy seized the opportunity to launch a solo career to share new music with his fans. His first solo CD, When One Door Closes, was released August 2003.

Holland Animal Care Trust Fund and begins at 10 a.m. This is a flat and fast race through the heart of East Cambridge & Inman Square that starts and finishes at CambridgeSide. The Massillon history group meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 10:00 a.m. until Noon to chat casually about a pre-announced topic, usually a narrow segment of Massillon history. Chris Craft and Mandy Altimus Stahl moderate the discussion.
The "Massillon Remembers" group is free and open to everyone; new participants are welcome at any time. Some people come to every session; others attend when the topic is of special interest to them. Coffee & doughnuts are available with donation.

Join artist Camara “Cam” Goodrich at MassMu for a hands-on mixed media workshop inspired by Ohio’s historic Lincoln Highway!
Attendees will use heavy texture medium and palette knives only, participants will create a richly layered roadway composition that explores movement, surface, and journey.
This workshop is open to students aged 14 and older.

This derby is geared towards children ages 4-15. In person registration will begin at 7:00 AM with fishing from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Jake Hoot is a wonderful country music storyteller who doesn’t just sing country music-he lives it. Rooted in faith, devoted to family, and carrying the heart of the country in every note! His performance in Season 17 of the Knockout Rounds singing “Cover Me Up” brought tears of joy to the audience and judges! He was born in Texas and raised between the Dominican Republic and Tennessee, and his music embodies a life steeped in faith, family and authenticity.
