William F. “Bill” Smith (1933–1991), born in Madison, Indiana, rose from humble beginnings to become a renowned designer of exquisite fine and costume jewelry in New York City.
His remarkable creations adorned the collections of socialites, actresses, and models, and he collaborated with fashion designers to create exclusive accessories. Throughout his illustrious career, he worked with esteemed companies like Laguna, Richelieu, Mark Cross, Ben Kahn, and Cartier.

McKinley Presidential Library & Museum
This exhibition explores the history of the Black communities of Canton, Massillon, Alliance, and Waynesburg. It takes visitors on a journey beginning in the early 1800s, when the first Black families arrived in Stark County, and traces the challenges they faced upon settling in the North.
The exhibition also highlights the vibrant business districts that once thrived—offering everything from ice cream to nationally touring nightlife entertainment—as well as the cherished places of worship!

The National Iraq-Afghanistan Memorial “Remembering Our Fallen” is a photographic war memorial with over 5,000 Fallen that honors our country’s military Fallen from The Global War on Terror (9/11/2001 - 8/30/2021).
This memorial also includes those who died in training accidents, whether stateside or overseas, as well as those who served in the combat zone during this time, but succumbed to PTS.

Lunchtime Yoga takes place at MassMu each Friday from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Join certified yoga instructors for a relaxing yoga session on the MassMu lawn. Rain/cold location is inside the Museum. Relax and refocus as you are guided through your practice.
Students must bring their own mats and it is recommended that they bring their own props. This class is beginner friendly. All ages and levels are welcome. The cost is $6 per class or $15 per 3-class bundle. Register upon arrival at the Museum!

Participants in this hands-on workshop will create their own moss artwork in a cradled wooden frame, using preserved moss, driftwood, pebbles, and other natural elements to design textured pieces inspired by Earth's landscapes. Participants leave with a unique piece of art that doubles as a natural décor accent. Bringing your own natural materials is encouraged, but not necessary.

Students will create clown portraits using felt. With this workshop, students will see how they can create fun, colorful portraits using simple shapes and layering of flat materials. Pieces will be glued together with the option of embroidering colorful yarn for extra details. Students are welcome/encouraged to bring in prep sketches and reference photos in advance if they feel inclined.
