From the nation’s earliest days to the modern era, First Ladies have shaped American history through advocacy, diplomacy, and cultural influence. The Eras Exhibit will take visitors on an immersive journey through the evolving role of these women across the many eras of the American historical timeline, showcasing how they have redefined leadership, championed social causes, and influenced national conversations.

The Art of Remembering features the artwork of six recently departed Stark County, Ohio, artists and reflects on their impact: Marcy Axelband (1954–2025), Diane Belfiglio (1956–2023), Frank Dale (1933–2025), Jack McWhorter (1950–2022), Pat Parker (1934–2024), and Pat Ripple (1926–2022).
Reflecting on the lasting impact of six recently departed Stark County artists. The show is on display in the Museum's Main Gallery through May 10, 2026.

Massillon Museum
Lunchtime Yoga takes place at MassMu each Friday from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Join certified yoga instructors for a relaxing yoga session on the MassMu lawn. Rain/cold location is inside the Museum. Relax and refocus as you are guided through your practice.
Students must bring their own mats and it is recommended that they bring their own props. This class is beginner friendly. All ages and levels are welcome. The cost is $6 per class or $15 per 3-class bundle. Register upon arrival at the Museum!

Together we will cover the 1946 and 1976 freedom trains that acted as traveling museums with twenty six galleries curated from all over the United States. Some American treasures aboard were a moon rock, the Louisiana purchase, and Jesse Owen’s gold medals among hundreds more that travelled 26,000 miles with 138 stops!

Hallmark Visitors Center. The Hand of the Artist: The Creative Collaboration of Hallmark and Disney, is a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how Hallmark artists create Disney products. Come see and learn about the First World War from reenactors portraying the soldiers who fought "Over There"!
Fort Laurens is hosting a small group of World War 1 reenactors, who will make a small “campsite” on the grounds. Interact with the reenactors and learn more about the American army during this major world conflict. The Fort Laurens Museum and gift shop will also be open for visitors to learn the history of Ohio's only Revolutionary War Fort.

The Jack Cullen Memorial Trout derby is a free event for children ages 4 - 15 and will take place at St. Helena Heritage Park in Canal Fulton!
Bait will be free and concessions will be available for purchase (cash only). Bring your own pole. Prizes and trophies provided by the Stark County Park District, Stark County Federation of Conservation Clubs, and the Berkley Fishing Team.
