McKinley Presidential Library & Museum
This exhibition explores the history of the Black communities of Canton, Massillon, Alliance, and Waynesburg. It takes visitors on a journey beginning in the early 1800s, when the first Black families arrived in Stark County, and traces the challenges they faced upon settling in the North.
The exhibition also highlights the vibrant business districts that once thrived—offering everything from ice cream to nationally touring nightlife entertainment—as well as the cherished places of worship!

Presented in partnership with Nightwine Productions, we spend a week filming during the camp experience, often in hidden, behind-the-scenes spots in the Museum.
This year’s movie is “The McKinley Project.” After an AI data center under the Monument becomes sentient, the team needs to stop it from taking over the world!After Movie Camp ends, Nightwine Productions works on editing and special effects throughout the fall. Our movie’s World Premiere takes place in December.

Lunchtime Yoga takes place at MassMu each Friday from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Join certified yoga instructors for a relaxing yoga session on the MassMu lawn. Rain/cold location is inside the Museum. Relax and refocus as you are guided through your practice.
Students must bring their own mats and it is recommended that they bring their own props. This class is beginner friendly. All ages and levels are welcome. The cost is $6 per class or $15 per 3-class bundle. Register upon arrival at the Museum!

For the tenth year, the Pro Football Hall of Fame in partnership with the NFL will host a camp during the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week on Tuesday!
The FREE Play Football Skills Camp, for children ages 10-14, features football activities designed for all skill levels. Hall of Famers will be on the field to assist and encourage camp participants! The camp will take place at the ForeverLawn Sports Park at Hall of Fame Village.

As a unique voice in the New York Creative Music Community, Trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Jonathan Finlayson was born and raised in Oakland, California. After an invaluable mentorship with trumpeter and composer Robert Porter, Jonathan joined Steve Coleman's Five Elements. While recording and touring internationally with The Five Elements, he completed his BFA at The New School for Jazz & Contemporary Music in 2005.
