This winter, explore all that Toronto has to offer- whether it’s sightseeing in the city, attending an annual event or parade, or just enjoying the enchanting light displays and holiday décor with family and friends.
1. Charming Christmas Celebrations
Every winter, Toronto wholeheartedly celebrates the magic and romance of the season with traditional charm. This holiday season; wrap yourself in the spirit of Christmas at the Toronto Christmas Market, presented by Tourism Toronto. This free event showcases hundreds of unique handcrafted products from artists by near and far. Savor the traditional sights, sounds, and scents of the Christmas season at the Toronto Christmas Market.
2. Come Together in the Community
See the City of Mississauga transformed into a magical holiday wonderland throughout the month of December. To kick-off the holiday season, take a photo with Santa to solidify your spot on his “nice” list, attend one of the many performances of the timeless tale, “A Christmas Carol,” or witness the lighting of the community’s eight-foot menorah. Check their community calendar to assure you indulge in all that’s happening throughout the winter months.
3. Celebrate With a Cause
Each year, Bloor Yorkville hosts many on-site, striking lighting displays, and plenty of holiday steals throughout their stores. However, their most notable event is their annual Icefest which directly supports the Heart & Stroke Foundation. At no cost to guests, Icefest features ice carving demonstrations, Ice Kiddie Cubes, majestic ice sculptures, an ice carving competition, and most importantly, an opportunity to show some heart. Be sure to check the event calendar for more detail.
