Its summer calendar centers on Byrne Plaza at Oak and Pacific Avenues: Music in the Plaza on Thursday nights, free family movie nights on Tuesdays, weekday morning Fitness in the Plaza from May to August, and a downtown farmers market on Saturday mornings. Friday-night fireworks on the boardwalk round out the season. The district office is on Pacific Avenue.
