Who we are · CTM, Certified Travel Media

The company that keeps the racks full.

For over forty years we have put travel brochures where travelers are: hotel lobbies, welcome centers, airports and malls. 30,000+ stands and 2,000+ screens, stocked by our own drivers out of our own warehouses, on routes we run ourselves. VisitorFun.com is the online half of the same job.

A distribution warehouse: pallets of brochures on racking, a worker moving one with a hand truck, a van at the loading dock and a wall map of North America.

What we do

One job, done the same way since the eighties

A traveler standing in a lobby is minutes from deciding what to do with the afternoon. Being in front of them at that moment is a logistics problem, not an advertising one, and logistics is what we own.

  1. 1

    We print, or you do

Rack cards, brochures and posters come off a press to a fixed size, because the pocket they sit in is a fixed size. Our design team builds the artwork or checks yours before the run.

  2. 2

It ships to a regional warehouse

Stock sits minutes from the venues it serves, not in a central depot a week away. A mid-season reprint or a new market is a phone call, not a project.

  3. 3

    A driver works the route

The same driver, the same venues, on a cycle. They fill the pockets, note what moved, photograph the rack and take the empties away.

  4. 4

    What moved comes back

Which markets are emptying and which are not is the only honest measure of a brochure, and it is the one we plan the next run from.

The network

Every dot is a venue on somebody's route.

This map is not an illustration. It is the operations database our drivers run routes from, binned into cells: the brighter a dot, the more racks that corner of the country carries. The blue ones also hold a screen.

What we sell

Five programs, three in the lobby and two online

One team runs all five, so a business deals with one rep whether it wants a rack in three cities or its whole online presence handled.

And VisitorFun

The same picks, on the phone in your hand

A traveler who takes a brochure off one of our racks is halfway through planning an afternoon. VisitorFun.com is the other half: the same attractions, on a map, with what they cost and what they are near, plus Fun, which will put a day together for you if you would rather ask than browse.

Nothing here is pay to play in the listings sense: businesses can buy a plan, and the ones that do are labelled, but the catalog is built from what our own people see moving off the racks.

Tell us the markets and the season. We come back with the venues, the formats and a plan, by email, from a person.
