About Veterans Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial Park in Oconomowoc is a tribute to local veterans, including those who served before the Civil War. Its entrance uses fort-style masonry and leads to a memorial fountain shaped as a five-pointed star, which represents the military branches, with flags for each branch including the newer Space Force. The curved Honor Walk carries thousands of engraved names across 16 panels, and paver bricks add personal dedications. A reflection area and an MIA-POW memorial sit nearby. The park is wheelchair accessible and has benches, tables, and water views. The Oconomowoc Area Veterans Group created the park, and the city maintains it.
