Fun Facts

Hoover Historical Center is on the National Register of Historic Sites, Ohio History Marker, and Blue Star Museum. It's also a POKEMON GO site.

The Hoover family lived in a primitive 1840s building for a year with farm animals in the adjacent room until a Victorian house was constructed.

Hoover Park was originally called Hoover Camp because the family had camp houses to stay in during the summer months. In 1921, Hoover began sales conventions in the camp where salesmen slept in tents for the week's convention stay.
