Battleship New Jersey, on the Camden Waterfront, NJ is America's most decorated battleship and one of the region’s most unique museums.

Battleship tours allow guests to “Touch History.”  Interactive exhibits and artifacts bring the ship – the longest battleship ever built – alive.  Climb inside the massive 16-inch gun turrets that could fire a 2,000-pound projectile 23 miles accurately.  Learn how the 45,000 sailors and marines lived aboard this floating city and more. 

The Battleship, designated by the Navy as "BB62" and once flag ship for NJ native Adm. William “Bull” Halsey, defended our nation in every major conflict from WWII to the Persian Gulf War.

Families, scouts, and youth groups can spend a night aboard the Battleship. The award-winning overnight program includes dinner and breakfast served at the chowline, a guided tour of the ship, the chance to fire a salute from the 40mm saluting gun, and the opportunity to sleep in the same bunks at the crew of the USS New Jersey. Group packages, educational programs, and unique rental event spaces are also available.
