Created by French artist Paul Philippoteaux in 1884, the 360-degree Gettysburg Cyclorama painting depicting Pickett’s Charge is longer than a football field and higher than a four-story building.
Before feature films, IMAX and virtual reality, the cyclorama was a popular attraction in the 1880s.
