A world-class naturalistic garden set within 1,000 acres of rolling hills, streams, meadows, and forests. Winterthur is considered one of America’s most beautiful historic homes and mansions, on par with Biltmore Estate, The Breakers, Monticello, and Hearst Castle. Visitors from around the world marvel at founder Henry Francis du Pont’s elegantly furnished home in which he entertained his family and friends in grand country-house style.
