Join MassMu for a screening of The Golden Key, with a panel discussion to follow!

The Golden Key was created by photographer and filmmaker Nell Dorr in 1955. Presented in collaboration with the Canton Palace Theatre, the event will honor Dorr’s legacy and highlight the history of women’s roles in film. The panel discussion will feature industry leaders!

A cash bar will be available for guests 21+. Free Registration can be completed via Humanitix or by calling 330.833.4061!

    The Art of Remembering features the artwork of six recently departed Stark County, Ohio, artists and reflects on their impact: Marcy Axelband (1954–2025), Diane Belfiglio (1956–2023), Frank Dale (1933–2025), Jack McWhorter (1950–2022), Pat Parker (1934–2024), and Pat Ripple (1926–2022). Reflecting on the lasting impact of six recently departed Stark County artists. The show is on display in the Museum's Main Gallery through May 10, 2026.

    "The Art of Remembering: Six Voices, One Legacy" Opening Reception
    "The Art of Remembering: Six Voices, One Legacy" On Saturday, March 21, Massillon Museum will open an exhibition honoring the legacy of six Stark County artists: Marcy Axelband, Diane Belfiglio, Frank Dale, Jack McWhorter, Pat Ripple, and Patricia Zinsmeister Parker. "The Art of Remembering: Six Voices, One Legacy" will be on view in the Museum's Main Gallery. Brief remarks will be made at 3:00 p.m. The reception is free and all are welcome!
