Come to Fort Laurens, the site of Ohio’s only Revolutionary War fort, for their annual Revolutionary War reenactment!

Watch a mock skirmish for American Independence with volunteer reenactors from the Brigade of the American Revolution. Learn about 18th-century life from a variety of different demonstrations, including music, artillery, cooking, medicine, and discussions with Colonial and British soldier reenactors. Enjoy food, vendors, kids’ games, and many other family-friendly activities!

Experience history on the front lines and learn about life on the frontier during the American Revolution! Students between fourth and eighth grade will learn more about the Revolutionary War and how early American settlers lived through interactive stations and demonstrations that cover Revolutionary War history, local Ohio history, and more! This event is open to public schools, private schools, and homeschoolers of all ages. All activities meet Ohio educational standards.
