Get the kids out of the house and into nature. Swing by the Exploration Gateway anytime between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM with your 3–9-year-olds. We'll be ready to greet you with nature activities, animal encounters, crafts, games, and more!

No registration required, but adults must stay with their kids.

Jack Cullen Memorial Trout Fishing Derby

The Jack Cullen Memorial Trout derby is a free event for children ages 4 - 15 and will take place at St. Helena Heritage Park in Canal Fulton! Bait will be free and concessions will be available for purchase (cash only). Bring your own pole. Prizes and trophies provided by the Stark County Park District, Stark County Federation of Conservation Clubs, and the Berkley Fishing Team. Registration begins at 7:30am and fishing begins at 8am.
