Stark Parks welcomes the Canton Concert Band to perform a variety of instrumental patriotic pieces in celebration of Independence Day and America's 250th birthday!

The concert is free. Bring a blanket or chair. Held outside of the Tam O'Shanter Park Clubhouse. Alcohol and snacks available for purchase. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved inside the Exploration Gateway at Sippo Lake Park.

Pep Tamargo Fishing Derby

The Pep Tamargo Memorial fishing derby will take place on Saturday, June 6th at Sippo Lake! This free event is sponsored by the Berkley Fishing Team, who will be on hand to provide instruction as well as prizes and giveaways. Bring your own pole and gear. Bait will be free, and concessions will be available at the marina. This derby is geared towards children ages 4-15. In person registration will begin at 7:00 AM with fishing from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
