Join us on Thursday, September 10 between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. where author Angela Watkins discusses her book Massillon Steel: The 1937 Columbia Heights Massacre and debuts a new book, Canton Steel: Corporate’s 1937 Blueprint for Union Busting.

Cash bar for guests 21+. Copies of both books will be for sale. Registration requested but not required. Guests 21+ can enjoy a cash bar. Copies of both Watkins' books will be for sale.

    The nation's first dedicated automobile route runs coast-to-coast through Massillon. Driving Forces is an exploration of Lincoln Highway history and its symbolic significance, marking Massillon's 200th anniversary and America 250. The Massillon Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM!

    Brown Bag Lunch: "The Declaration of Independence" - Chris Craft
    Bring a sack lunch or purchase from the Twilite Café. The program will begin promptly at 12:10 p.m. and conclude at about 12:50 p.m. to accommodate guests who attend during the lunch hour. It occurs on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from January through October. ASL interpreter provided. The event, which is held in the Museum's Gessner Hall, is free and open to the public; no reservations are required, but seats fill early.
