Laconia Rail Bikes

15 Veterans Square · Laconia, NH

Why you should go…

Laconia Rail Bikes, run by Granite State Railway, sends custom four-person pedal rail bikes out of the historic Laconia Railroad Station in the Lakes Region. The 5-mile round trip follows an 1848 rail line along the shore of Lake Winnisquam and takes about 90 minutes of riding, roughly two hours in all. Bikes are booked per four-seat bike rather than per person, closed-toe shoes are required, and group outings of five or more bikes can be customized. The season runs May through October; the Lincoln location offers motor-assisted bikes, Laconia does not.
