At this point, we’re all sick of the snow and ready to skip our way into spring. St. Louis is warming up and ready to be your next spring destination. Shake off those boots, grab your lighter jacket, hop in your car and explore what the biggest city in Missouri has to offer.
1) Warm Springs Ranch
We all know that St. Louis is the home of Anheuser Busch - even if you don’t drink beer; we all are familiar with those majestic Clydesdale horses. Visit the Warm Springs Ranch in Booneville, MO, the 300 acre home of these gorgeous horses. You can tour the facility, see where they Clydesdales are bred and raised, and even get a chance to interact with them. Spring brings new beginnings, maybe you'll even get to see some newborn foals.
2) Gateway Arch Riverboat Cruises
St. Louis is famous for the Gateway Arch that dominates the city skyline, making it a must see while you're in town. Even better, the Gateway Arch Riverboat Cruises will take you down the Mississippi River year round so you can get the best skyline view possible. 3) Historic Daniel Boone Home & Heritage Center
History is everywhere, and St. Louis has no shortage of it. Learn about famously historic Missouri native Daniel Boone by visiting the Historic Daniel Boone Home & Heritage Center. Learn about the legacy of Daniel Boone and experience what daily life was like in a 19th century village- visit an old school house, a general store, take a guided tour of the facility, and so much more. The Danial Boone Home looks especially lovely in the spring when all the flora is in bloom, be sure to bring a camera.
