If you are coming to the Cape and want your kids to get out and do something they enjoy, consider bringing them to one of the local skateparks. The skateparks of Cape Cod are great for kids who enjoy skateboarding, rollerblading, and biking.

Kids: Catch Some Air at a Cape Cod SkateparkBalls to the Wall at 96 Airport Road in Hyannis has an indoor skatepark (for fun even in inclement weather). There is also an indoor paintball arena and a laser tag area, so kids can come here for a full day of fun. The hours change seasonally, and it's $7/hr or $20/day for skating in the park. There are also free, outdoor skateparks on Cape Cod.

  • The Chatham Skatepark is on 240 George Ryder Road in Chatham.
  • The Wellfleet Skatepark is located at 70 Kendrick Avenue in Wellfleet. There is a large playground right next to it if you have younger kids you want to bring with you.
  • The Falmouth Skatepark is located in Trotting Park Field off of Trotting Park Road in Falmouth.
  • The Barnstable Skatepark is located at 141 Bassett Lane in Hyannis.
  • The Kenneth Benjamin Fleet Skatepark is located in Sandwich behind the CVS plaza on Cotuit Road. For more information, call 508-888-4361.
  • The Harwich Skatepark is located at 110 Oak Street in Harwich.
  • The Finch Skatepark is located at 78 Eldridge Park Way in Orleans and their phone number is 508-247-9838.
  • The Provincetown Skatepark is located at the intersection of Jerome Smith and Shankpainter Road.
