Two 1940s-era Delta maintenance hangars beside Hartsfield-Jackson hold nearly a century of airline history: a restored Douglas DC-3, the Spirit of Delta, the Boeing 767 employees banded together to buy for the company in 1982, and the 747 Experience, where you walk the first Boeing 747-400 ever built from cabin to cockpit.
