American Idol finalist Siobhan Magnus will sing the songs of the 60s this weekend at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod in South Yarmouth.
Local songstress Siobhan Magnus and music historian Dafydd ap Rees will present "The Story of the British Invasion" at the center on Saturday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Magnus and ap Rees will take you back to 1964 when British bands like the Beatles hit America.
Learn about the Zombies, the Animals, the Dave Clark Five, the Rolling Stones and others. Magnus will sign the catchy, unforgettable songs that made these Brit bands famous.
Magnus was a finalist during Season 9 of American Idol. Season 9 was a pivotal season for the show--it was the final season for the snarly Brit Simon Cowell and the only season for Ellen Degeneres.
Tickets are $18 and $15 for members of the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
