Summer is coming, get your family outside and get going! New England is the nation’s top outdoor destination, we know that, but try something new and exciting- try zip lining. This outdoor craze is sweeping the nation. Put on your exploring shoes, get strapped into a harness, and soar through the trees into a fantastic summer adventure. We’ve gathered here the three top zip lining destinations in the North East.
1) Alpine Adventures
Alpine Adventures was the first, and still is, the fastest, longest, and highest zip line canopy tour in New England. Located in Lincoln, NH, amongst the beautiful White Mountains, the park is packed with multiple zip line tours suitable for all skill levels. 2) Zoar Outdoor
Boasting the only zip line canopy tour in Massachusetts is Zoar Outdoor. This 3 hour tour will take you flying across 9 lines, over 2 sky bridges, and over 3 rappels as you enjoy the beauty of western Massachusetts. This adventure park is jam packed with other activities as well, including kayaking, bike riding, climbing, and white water rafting.
3) Monkey Trunks
Get ready to “monkey” around at Monkey Trunks Extreme Aerial Adventure Parks. Monkey Trunks is ideal if you’re looking for a “ground-up” learning experience. The park has everyone participate with ground school and safety instructions before beginning at the base level of their rope challenges.
