About Acorn Hall

Acorn Hall is an 1853 Victorian Italianate mansion at 68 Morris Avenue in Morristown, New Jersey. The Morris County Historical Society runs it as a historic house museum and uses it as the society's headquarters. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 for its architectural significance. Visitors can join scheduled tours of the house and galleries, or see the first floor of the carriage house on a self-guided visit during the week in warmer months. The gardens are open to the public every day from dawn to dusk, and a path to Patriot's Path starts behind the house.
