A museum in White Mills, Pennsylvania, showing one of the largest collections of American brilliant-cut Dorflinger glass.
P.O. Box 356, White Mills, PA 18473 · White Mills, PA
Housed on the grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary, this museum displays more than 1,000 pieces of cut, engraved, etched, gilded, and enameled Dorflinger crystal and glass. The collection is shown in the former home of the glass works founder, Christian Dorflinger, who turned White Mills into an industrial center starting in the 1860s. The glass works supplied fine tables across the country, including several White House administrations. The museum opened to the public on May 20, 1989, after a community fundraising campaign, and volunteers staff both the museum and its gift shop. Admissions and gift shop sales provide the primary operating funds.
