About Greenwood Gardens

Set on a former family estate in Short Hills, this public garden covers about 28 acres and sits inside a much larger area of preserved parkland. Visitors can wander terraced beds, shaded woods, open meadows, grottoes, fountains, and Arts and Crafts style structures, along paths that date back to the early 1900s. Tickets are best bought ahead online to secure entry, and guests are asked to follow the photography rules and garden etiquette.
