About Harrisville State Park
Harrisville State Park, established in 1921, is one of Michigan's oldest state parks, about 107 acres of pine and cedar woods along a mile of Lake Huron shore. It has a swim beach, a pet-friendly beach in the campground, a modern campground and cabins. The 2-mile Cedar Run Nature Trail is a good spot for spring warblers, and the paved Heritage Trail runs into town. Cars need a Recreation Passport: $12 a day for out-of-state vehicles, or $15 a year added to a Michigan plate renewal.
