The Legion of Honor is a fine arts museum in Lincoln Park, built as a three-quarter-scale version of the Palais de la Légion d'Honneur in Paris and opened on Armistice Day, November 11, 1924. Alma de Bretteville Spreckels gave it to the city. The collection spans more than 6,000 years of ancient and European art, and a cast of Rodin's The Thinker sits in the Court of Honor. The site looks out toward the Golden Gate Bridge, and organ concerts are played on Saturdays at 4 p.m..
