Luxor is an Egyptian-themed casino resort at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, built as a 30-story pyramid and opened in 1993. You enter past a re-creation of the Great Sphinx of Giza, and inclined elevators carry guests up the pyramid at a 39-degree angle. Inside you'll find the casino, shows such as Blue Man Group and Carrot Top, and ticketed exhibitions including Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. At night the Luxor Sky Beam shines up from the tip.
