The Madonna Inn opened on December 24, 1958, the creation of Alex and Phyllis Madonna, and it has 110 guest rooms, each with its own theme. Room names include the Caveman Room, Love Nest and Cloud Nine, and some have rock showers or rock waterfall showers. Pink runs through the property, down to the lamp posts. You do not need a room to visit: there is a steakhouse, a bakery known for its pink cakes, boutique shopping, a spa and trail rides.
