Why you should go…

Ottawa City Rafting is Wilderness Tours' in-city rafting trip, launching from Britannia Beach Park about ten minutes west of downtown Ottawa. Guided rafts for 4 to 9 people run the Kitchissippi stretch of the Ottawa River through gentle Class I to III rapids, with flat stretches, swim stops, body surfing and optional cliff jumping, and an electric motor to help on calm water; the trip finishes with views of Parliament Hill and river history from the guide. Paddle, life jacket and helmet are included, non-swimmers are welcome, and the minimum is age 5 and 50 lb. Departures at 9:30 am and 2 pm, May 1 to September 30.
