Why you should go…

San Francisco City Guides is an all-volunteer nonprofit that has led free walking tours of the city since 1978, in partnership with the San Francisco Public Library. More than 300 trained guides lead over 70 different tours covering neighborhood history, architecture, and local lore, drawing more than 35,000 participants a year. Tours run 1.5 to 2 hours and require no reservation, just show up at the posted meeting point.
