A 1.7-acre city park across from the historic Sopchoppy depot, known for its native plant gardens.
33 Rose Street, Sopchoppy, FL · Sopchoppy, FL
This small city park sits near the center of Sopchoppy, facing the historic depot. It includes a walking path, a playground, two picnic pavilions, and a music stage. Volunteers planted the grounds with native species, and the gardens hold more than 120 kinds of plants. Visitors can follow a self-guided tour using QR codes on plant signs, and they can pick up free wildflower seeds from a small depot-shaped seed station. The Florida Native Plant Society gave the park a landscape award in 2021. A monthly volunteer workday is held on the first Saturday.
