Timpanogos Cave National Monument

RR 3 Box 200, American Fork Canyon · American Fork, UT

Why you should go…

Reaching Timpanogos Cave requires a strenuous paved hike that climbs about 1,100 feet before rangers lead timed tours through helictite and stalactite formations inside three linked caverns. The site is only open seasonally, typically from late spring through early fall depending on snowpack. Tickets are limited and often sell out, so booking ahead through recreation.gov is strongly recommended.
