Woodfield Mall opened in September 1971 in Schaumburg and is the largest mall in Illinois, with about 2.15 million square feet of leasable space. Its anchors are JCPenney, Macy's, Nordstrom and Primark, and a Dining Pavilion food court with 820 seats opened in 2017. The mall draws more than 27 million visitors a year.
