Passengers should arrive 30 minutes prior to departure to allow enough time for parking, ticket purachases, washroom stops and boarding.

Babies under age 3, not occupying a seat, are free.

Parking is available at the station for disabled. Parking, station platform and washrooms are wheelchair accessible, however there are a few stairs to the coaches.

South Simcoe Railway is a non-profit historical association dedicated to the preservation and operation of railway equipment from Canada's steam era.

Across the road from the station is a conservation park with swimming, camping and picnicking, and friendly local shops and restaurants are just a block away.

Coaches are fully enclosed and are heated in cold weather.
