Passengers should arrive 30 minutes prior to departure to allow enough time for parking, ticket purachases, washroom stops and boarding.

Babies under age 3, not occupying a seat, are free.

Parking is available at the station for disabled. Parking, station platform and washrooms are wheelchair accessible, however there are a few stairs to the coaches.

South Simcoe Railway is a non-profit historical association dedicated to the preservation and operation of railway equipment from Canada's steam era.

Across the road from the station is a conservation park with swimming, camping and picnicking, and friendly local shops and restaurants are just a block away.

Coaches are fully enclosed and are heated in cold weather.

    Haunted Halloween Adventure
    Take a trip up the line the weekend before Halloween. SSR's only nighttime excursions of the year come alive with the sights and sounds of ghosts and goblins. Enjoy a fun, non-too-scary family-oriented Halloween adventure. All passengers are encouraged to dress in costume to compete for prizes for best children's costume and best adult's costume on each trip. There are candy treats as well for a sweet finish to a fun evening.
