1 Mount Washington Auto Road · Gorham, NH
Great Glen Trails is the sister company of the Mount Washington Auto Road, sharing its base lodge at the foot of the mountain in Pinkham Notch. In winter it grooms about 20 kilometers of cross-country ski trails plus ungroomed backcountry, rents skis, snowshoes and fat bikes, runs a snow tubing hill and is the launch point for Auto Road SnowCoach tours. In summer the carriage roads open to cruiser and mountain bike rentals and the center runs half-day wildlife kayak tours and whitewater clinics on the Androscoggin River.
