Crawford Notch State Park covers 5,775 acres in the middle of a major pass through the White Mountains, reached on US Route 302 between Bretton Woods and Bartlett. Trails lead to Arethusa Falls and Ripley Falls, and the Willey House site recalls the landslide of 1826. You can fish, hike and watch for wildlife. Dry River Campground has wooded sites with flush toilets and showers.
