This small state park sits on the Connecticut River in Haverhill and covers about 74 acres. It once held a long covered bridge that linked New Hampshire with Vermont, a Burr truss design that combined an arch with kingpost trusses. Wind brought that bridge down in 1979, and nothing of it stands today. Visitors can walk, picnic, paddle non-motorized boats, and fish. A Fish and Game boat launch is inside the grounds. Pets are welcome, and drones may not take off or land within state park boundaries.
