Blue Hole

1085 Blue Hole Rd · Santa Rosa, NM

Why you should go…

The Blue Hole is a bell-shaped sinkhole fed by an artesian spring, just off historic Route 66 in Santa Rosa. The water stays near 61 degrees all year and is clear to about 100 feet, which draws scuba divers for training in a pool roughly 81 feet deep. You can also simply swim, at your own risk since there is no lifeguard. Divers need a certification card and a permit, an on-site dive shop rents equipment, and leashed pets are welcome on the grounds but not in the water.
