Ruidoso, Tucumcari, and Farmington sit in three separate corners of New Mexico. Ruidoso is a mountain town in Lincoln County with cabin lodging such as Dan Dee Cabins and horse racing nearby at Ruidoso Downs. Tucumcari, on old Route 66 in the northeast, holds the Tucumcari Historical Museum's Native American and pioneer-era artifacts in a former 1903 schoolhouse. Farmington, in the state's northwest corner, is the largest city in the Four Corners region and serves as a base for visiting Chaco Culture National Historical Park and Aztec Ruins National Monument.
