Echo Canyon River Expeditions is a family owned whitewater rafting outfitter that has operated on the Arkansas River since 1978. It runs half day, full day and multi day trips ranging from gentle floats in Bighorn Sheep Canyon to heart pounding whitewater in the Royal Gorge. Its base eight miles west of Canon City, about an hour from Colorado Springs, includes an on site restaurant and bar, cabin rentals and glamping tents.
