The Edge Motor Museum is a nonprofit automobile museum in Memphis, Tennessee. Its current inaugural exhibit, American Speed, traces the arc of the American sports car from the postwar years through the 1970s, with more than a dozen iconic models on view. The museum emphasizes preserving cars rather than restoring them, and selects each vehicle for its historical and cultural importance rather than as part of a personal collection. Displays are either owned by the museum or lent by individuals, estates, or organizations. Visitors can also join as members, which includes free entry and shop discounts, and group tours can be arranged by contacting the museum.
